Some of the northern brothers and sisters here have been reveling in the springtime appearance of robins. Here in the great southern state of Missouri we have a few robins that brave the winter, so I’m used to seeing them hopping around.
During the spring, like many of us humans, the robin’s thoughts turn to amore’. For the past few days, one robin in particular has been irritatingly pursuing his lust.
In our family room we have a number of carved ducks and geese. We also have a couple of half-moon windows that give a clear view inside the room.
And we have a crazy robin that perches on the outside sill of the window peering in at the carvings. Then he will back away and try to fly through the glass, banging his head time and again. This will go on for hours! It’s like a dripping faucet quite irritating when trying to read or concentrate on something. This hard-headed robin just doesn’t get it.
He reminds me of many people I know. They know about Jesus, they think they would like to have that personal relationship with Him. But instead of entering through the door He has opened for them, they just keep banging their heads on the window.
My brothers and sisters, by being here, you have entered through the door He has opened for you.
Now, show others The Way!
Shalom, Art

Yes, there are so many learned and so many religious people who would not enter by the Door, Jesus Christ – they prefer the route of logic and good works and do not “see” that the Door is already open for them. May those who have been hurt, scarred and yes, still looking for the answer to life’s purpose and problems come to Jesus for He beckons – “Come unto me all you who are heavy laden and I will give you rest. ” Come to Jesus and He will give you the peace that you need.
