Living in Fullness

The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy. I came that they may have life and have it abundantly. – John 10:10

God is a healing and prospering God.  (And prospering does not just mean your money, because prosperity comes in the form of marriage, careers, relationships, and all areas that pertain to an abundant, rich and full life.)  Countless scriptures will affirm that He has healed and He has prospered His children.  We receive our prosperity and our healing in the same way we received salvation.  We heard.  We believed.  We spoke.  We maintained the faith. Jesus has suffered all so that we do not have to suffer.  Suffering for the believer comes in the form of temptations and trials and tests.  The believer is not to suffer poverty.  Jesus became poor that we have been made rich.  The believer is not to suffer sickness or disease.  Jesus Himself took our infirmities (weaknesses) and sicknesses with Him to the cross.  Satan is the author of poverty, lack, sickness, disease, illness, and emotional upheaval.  Before Adam sinned, he was given all authority, power and dominion over this earth.  When Adam sinned, he unwittingly gave this authority, power and dominion over to Satan, and the curse entered upon the earth.  This curse carried with it poverty and disease.  Satan became the god of a cursed world and the god of poverty, lack, disease, sickness, illness and all that the curse entails.  Those who have confessed Jesus Christ as their Savior and their Lord, are not under the influence of the curse nor subject to the dominion of Satan, while on this earth.  “Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us in the heavenly realms with every spiritual blessing in Christ.” (Ephesians 1:3)  The believer is not under the curse because the believer is not of the kingdom of this world.  The kingdom of God is not under a curse, but is instead, under the blessings of God.  God abundantly blessed Abraham and made a covenant with Abraham.  Galatians 3:9 says .. “So all who put their faith in Christ share the same blessing Abraham received because of his faith”.

Note .. We are not to set our heart on obtaining riches or prospering materially.  But, we are to set our hearts on His Word and His promises. And not be in doubt or unbelief when we ask Him for anything that pertains to what His Word promises.  We shall prosper as our soul prospers.  In other words, the more of the truth, life, and light that we come to know intimately, the more we will find our souls prospering and the more we find our souls prospering, the more we will find our lives becoming fuller and more abundant.

Amen and Amen PTL! Seek the Giver, not the gifts! Love it.

Seek ye first the kingdom of God and all these things shall be added to you. Matthew 6:33.
The order for all to be added is to seek the Giver first, then the gifts.
Because of His great love and mercy to all, many have overlooked His requirement to seek the Lord first and have instead emphasized the gifts rather than the Giver.. That is inconsistent with the Word.
