My ministry at the Upper Room and at the Churches on Trial was ordained of God to tell the world the truth about Christ. This ministry is not based on hype or the glory of man. I am not in it for the money, nor am I in it to gain popularity, title, or position. The reality is, “Christ is real to Rick Roehm, so real I give my life to His cause”. Christ cleaned the heart of Rick Roehm from sin and gives Rick Roehm a better standard of life.
This ministry does not argue. I do not debate. I do not teach fables. My only intent is to get people to Christ and to teach them the truth of God’s Word.
The world is so lost and undone. There are so many distractions. Evil is rampant in every walk of life. The pressures of life are intense for so many. The clean heart taught in the Bible is merely the simplicity of Christ in your heart and mine. The Bible teaches that Christian’s are to have a clean heart. Christian’s are to be holy and right in the eyes of God. Christ is alive and His power is given to those who believe and trust Him for personal forgiveness and the life of holiness.
I call this the plain and simple truth. Christ is the way; the truth; and the life. No room for argument or debate. God said so. It’s final. To do the will of God your heart must be clean and holy. Only Christ can clean the heart of man. Don’t be overtaken with the opinions of men. Read it in your Bible. Experience it in the Spirit!
Truth undermines elegant stories which come from enticing words of men’s wisdom. Truth plows under human wisdom with demonstration of the Spirit and power. Truth is only built upon the Word of God. Truth is not open for debate. Truth is only argued by people who reject it or don’t understand it’s worth. Truth is raw…and simple enough for a child to understand. Truth needs to be stood for and taught on, more today!
During the course of my ministry I’ve never compromised the Word, nor do I apologize for teaching truth. Sometimes the truth requires giving up what some people cling to so desperately. Sometimes truth seems unusual to some but it brings comfort to the hungry soul. That’s why I publish these timeless messages. That’s why I give my time and life to this cause.

Rick, the “truth” as taught by Jesus, Our Lord, was often conveyed in simple but powerful parables. The crowds responded by the thousands. Praise be that you are teaching with simplicity the truth of His SavingGrace through the Cross of Calvary and his Resurrection, so that all who come to Him in confession and faith may have everlasting life!
