The best way to defeat an enemy is to confuse him. Our enemy, Satan, uses confusion against us all the time. A confused person will think there are many ways to God. Jesus said, “I am the way, the truth, and the life.”
Each day I ask God which stronghold is causing people to lose sight of His presence. We are all subject to confusion. Only God has the answers. With God there is peace and fullness of joy.
Social confusion causes disorder. God does not. Outward changes and stress in the world and in our lives and our actions and reactions can cause confusion and prevent us from moving forward. When we’re confused we lose focus, we can’t remember details of truth, we readily accept deceptions claiming to be truth, we are easily victimized, we stress out and become anxious and sometimes aggressive.
Symptoms of mental confusion can be caused by age or more likely by medication. If you have this type of confusion see your doctor.
Biblical tips to overcome confusion:
1. Pray every time you are confused. Ask for truth. Trust God. God is not a God of confusion and disorder but of peace, love and a sound mind.
Psalm 69:13 May my prayer come to you at an acceptable time, O Lord.O God, out of the greatness of your mercy, answer me with the truth of your salvation.
2.Seek answers from the scriptures. God offers true salvation through Jesus Christ who came in the flesh as His son — not salvation by our own efforts
Romans 6:23 The reward for sin is death, but the gift that God freely gives is everlasting life found in Christ Jesus our Lord.
3. Follow truth, read the Bible for answers and wait to hear from God.
Isaiah 40:31 Yet, the strength of those who wait with hope in the Lord will be renewed. They will soar on wings like eagles. They will run and won’t become weary. They will walk and won’t grow tired.
4. Don’t believe all people or religions.
1 John 4:1 Dear friends, don’t believe all people who say that they have the Spirit. Instead, test them. See whether the spirit they have is from God, because there are many false prophets in the world.
5. Recognize God’s Spirit.
1 John 4:2 2This is how you can recognize God’s Spirit: Every person who declares that Jesus Christ has come as a human has the Spirit that is from God.
6. Know that Jesus Christ and God are one.
John 10:30 The Father and I are one.”
For more clarification read the first chapter of the book of John.
1 John 4:3 3But every person who doesn’t declare that Jesus Christ has come as a human has a spirit that isn’t from God. This is the spirit of the antichrist that you have heard is coming. That spirit is already in the world.
7. Trust that God will reveal the answer to your confusion, and even reveal Himself to you in His time.
Psalms 37:7 Surrender yourself to the Lord, and wait patiently for him. Do not be preoccupied with an evildoer who succeeds in his way when he carries out his schemes.

When we pray during times of confusion, we need to in Jesus’ Name, cast out the confusion from our minds. Take authority over our minds in Jesus’ Name and we know that as He is accepted consciously, He comes in and drives the doubts away, instilling faith and peace to our turbulent minds.
Praying, walking in meditation and devotion, memorizing sections of Scripture to carry in your heart all day, comparing the wonders of His world to the truths He reveals through His Holy Word, picturing yourself as the lost sheep He has just brought Home in His arms–all of these practices, as you so powerfully say here, eradicate confusion from our hearts and minds.
