Psalm 1:1,2 Blessed is the one …whose delight is in the law of the Lord,
and who meditates on his law day and night.
Response:: Father, please take my thoughts today and fill me with Your thoughts of love, joy, peace, long-suffering, faith, goodness, meekness and all that Your Spirit would grow in me. Take away thoughts that entice me away from You and keep my thoughts pure before You. Let me have these thoughts about others – whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, let me think on these things. Amen.

We cannot spend our whole day actually reading the Word, but we CAN meditate all day (or most of the day) on what He shows us in the morning, and when we do so, He will keep our thoughts pure, honest, lovely, kind . . . and reflecting His love and grace to others.
