Psalm 1:6 : For the Lord watches over the way of the righteous,  but the way of the wicked leads to destruction.

Response :  Father, thank You that when we accept You as our Saviour You give us new desires, new pleasures, new hopes in the face of fears, sorrows, companions, and employments. Thank You for changing our  thoughts, words, and actions  into Your image, our Redeemer. How different the character and end of the ungodly – please keep us from reverting to ungodliness today, in Jesus Name we pray. Amen.
