I LIFT UP MY EYES – Psalm 2:8

Psalm 2:8 : Ask me,   and I will make the nations your inheritance,  the ends of the earth your possession.

Response : Jesus, as the Father responds to Your request to make the nations your inheritance and the earth your possession, I am thankful that You are  my Intercessor who intercedes daily on my behalf. I know Your prayers according to Your will, will be answered for me. I cast all my cares upon You and leave my burdens with You knowing in full confidence that You have everything under control. Thank You Jesus for your care and love today. Let me reflect Your care and love to others You  bring across my path today. Amen.

Christ our Intercessor – “Who also makes intercession for us.” –Romans 8:34
    1. It is righteous intercession – It is Jesus Christ our righteous Advocate
    2. It is prevailing intercession – ask in My Name, the Name above all names
    3. It is personal intercession – if any man sins, we have an Advocate with the Father
    4. It is merciful and compassionate intercession – He is a man of sorrows and acquainted with our grief
    5. It is an unchanging intercession – He faints not,, neither is weary

“Be to me a protecting rock of safety, where I am always welcome. Give the order to save me, for you are my rock and my fortress.” Psalm 71:3

  3. We can have complete and absolute confidence in our triune God because He is perfect and He cannot deny His own nature or His promises. What a blessing it is that when we don’t know how to pray, He intercedes for us, presenting our very thoughts and desires in an acceptable way.

    What an amazing God!
