Response : I am Your servant, LORD because if I am not, I will die as a heathen. Jesus You are my friend, and You are God as well. Though we are friends I must remember to give You respect always, for I am Your servant. This is the only way to be happy and safe in trusting You, my Master. Help me always to give You due reverence, for You are worthy of all reverence and praise. Amen.

Well said. While Jesus is our constant Companion, and our dearest Friend, He is not our equal. He is King of kings. He is Lord. He is the omnipotent God, the creator of this universe.
We rejoice in His closeness and the way He desires to be a special part of our entire lives, but we must ALWAYS be in submission, respecting His right to control . . . and it is a JOY to submit, because in Him is all fullness of love and joy and He only desires the very, very best for us.
