Psalm 4:1 : Answer me when I call to you, my righteous God. Give me relief from my distress; have mercy on me and hear my prayer.
How long will you people turn my glory into shame? How long will you love delusions and seek false gods? 3 Know that the Lord has set apart his faithful servant for himself; the Lord hears when I call to him.
4 Tremble and do not sin; when you are on your beds search your hearts and be silent. 5 Offer the sacrifices of the righteous and trust in the Lord.
Response : 4:1-5 : Hear me for thy mercy-sake, O Lord. . Help me as I ask for such blessings as pardon, and justifying righteousness, and eternal life. Let me not fall into sin but maintain holy reverence of Your glory and majesty. Please help me examine any sin with serious self-reflection. Help me fasten my thoughts upon that which is good, and keep close to it. Help me to consider my ways, and before I turn to sleep at night, examine my conscience with respect to what I have done today; particularly what I have done amiss, that I may repent of it. When I awake in the night, may I meditate upon You, and the things that belong to peace. When I am upon my sick-bed, particularly, help me consider my ways.
Help me be still. when I have asked conscience a question, be serious, be silent, wait for an answer. Let me not open my mouth to excuse sin. Search me O Lord and cleanse me. Purify me. Like the Psalmist may all my confidence be only: Put my trust in the Lord. Amen.

Praise God, we KNOW that He will ALWAYS answer us when we call to Him. We know that He desires the very, very best for us and that He constantly watches over us, and we can have complete confidence that He will never leave us but will bring about His purpose in our lives.
What an amazing God!
