Psalm 6:3 My soul is also sore vexed; but thou O Lord, how long?
Response : O Lord, I am upset by the circumstances and people around me. However, you do not want me to remain there – upset, depressed, out of sorts. You want to lift me up and help me to accept Your love and deliverance from my despondency. I should not let anyone or anything control me today as I belong to You Lord. I am a victor and have promised victory in You. Thank You Jesus for victory You bought on the cross of Calvary for victory over sin and the grave. Thank You Jesus, things and people might try to put me down, but on the contrary You lift me up. So lift me up that I may praise Your name today.
Keep me appreciative of Your love to me, Jesus and for my encouragers You have faithfully brought into my life. Bless and encourage each one of them today. Thank You Jesus. Amen.

Praise the Lord.. we are on day closer… and together… as a team for Jesus. United we will stand for Jesus.
Your response covers it all and I echo a hearty “Amen”
We can get so depressed by the things happening in the world today and even more so when we see Churches pandering to the cries of tolerance and non-discrimination and ‘rights’ of the individual. We fear for our unsaved friends and pray for them and witness to them, knowing that time is running out.
But we also have the mind of Christ and we know that even though these things are happening, HE is still in control and we praise Him for all He does for us moment by moment, and we look for His return.
We are one day closer!
