Psalm 11:7 : For the Lord is righteous, he loves justice; the upright will see his face.
Response : Note His character – He is righteous!
For Lord You are righteousness. It is not only Your office to defend it, but Your nature to love it. You would deny Yourself if You did not defend the just. It is essential to Your very being of God that You should be just; I should fear not, then, the end of all my trials, but “be just, and fear not.” God approves, and, if men oppose, what matters it?
You countenance does behold the upright. I will never be out of countenance, for You countenance me. You observe, You approve, You delight in the upright. You see Your own image in me, an image of Your own fashioning, and therefore with complacency You regard me. Shall I dare put forth my hand unto iniquity in order to escape affliction? Let me be done with byways and short turnings, and let me keep to that fair path of right along which Jehovah’s smile shall light me. Am I tempted to put my light under a bushel, to conceal my belief from my neighbours? Is it suggested to me that there are ways of avoiding the cross, and shunning the reproach of Christ? Let me not hearken to the voice of the charmer, but seek an increase of faith, that I may wrestle with principalities and powers, and follow the Lord, fully going without the camp, bearing His reproach. Mammon, the flesh, the devil, will all whisper in my ear, “Flee as a bird to your mountain;” but let me come forth and defy them all. “Resist the devil, and he will flee from you.” There is no room or reason for retreat. Advance! Let the vanguard push on! To the front! all ye powers and passions of my soul. On! on! in God’s name, on! for “the Lord of hosts is with me; the God of Jacob is my refuge.”
Yes Lord, I must resist, pursue, stand firm, persevere, overcome, reign over all my enemies, as You are in me, live in me and empower me to go on, and on, and on, till Your kingdom come. For Yours in me is the power, and the honour and the glory for ever and ever, Amen.

“The Lord is righteous” and what comfort that is to all who are His blood-bought, adopted children!
“He loves justice” Yes, He IS Just and He is the Justifier of all who come to Him in faith and repentance.
“The upright will see His face” . . . What a day that will be! Then I will truly be “like Him” 1 John 3:2. We are one day closer!
What an amazing God!
Amen!
