Psalm 125
Those who trust in the Lord are like Mount Zion, which cannot be shaken but endures forever. 2 As the mountains surround Jerusalem, so the Lord surrounds his people both now and forevermore. 3 The scepter of the wicked will not remain over the land allotted to the righteous, for then the righteous might use their hands to do evil. 4 Lord, do good to those who are good, to those who are upright in heart. 5 But those who turn to crooked ways the Lord will banish with the evildoers.
Peace be on Israel.

Whole Psalm. This short psalm may be summed up in those words of the prophet (Isa 3:10-11), “Say ye to the righteous, that it shall be well with him. Woe unto the wicked! it shall be ill with him.” Thus are life and death, the blessing and the curse, set before us often in the psalms, as well as in the law and in the prophets.—Matthew Henry, 1662-1714.Response: Lord, we rest secure in You for our lives are in Your hands. Peace be on Jerusalem even though surrounded by enemies. Amen.

Perfect security, no matter what the circumstances we are in or face . . . that is what we experience as blood-bought, adopted children of the living God. Our God is still on the throne and He still watches over His own and His way is perfect.
What an amazing God!
I absolutely adore Sons of Korah, My Dad put me onto them when he was alive and we went and saw them play live once. I have all of their albums on a mixed ‘Sunday’ Playlist along with a few other special artists which I play to fill our home. When I meditate and go to my sanctuary I always imagine Sons of Korah playing acoustic songs for me. I love it! Tank you for sharing! Blessings to you!
