Are we surprised when we discover a published gay Bible? Editors justify modifying the “King” James version because the king was, according to them, gay. There is, however, no credible evidence in existence to confirm his sexual experience.
Editors claim the KJV has translation problems. Writing about interpretive ambiguity for the word “abomination” [Leviticus 22:18 - Thou shalt not lie with mankind, as with womankind: it is abomination." KJV] they say, “Since abominable offenses aren’t all punishable by death like this one, leads us to believe there was translative error at some point.” To me, that contradicts Revelation 22:18-19:
“I warn everyone who hears the words of the prophecy of this scroll: If anyone adds anything to them, God will add to that person the plagues described in this scroll. And if anyone takes words away from this scroll of prophecy, God will take away from that person any share in the tree of life and in the Holy City, which are described in this scroll.”
Adding And Subtracting
Their goal with this bible, in my opinion, is to justify their lifestyle, to make homosexuality sound like normal Biblical acceptable behavior. Since their movement came out of the closet decades ago, they have mounted Herculean efforts to become accepted in society. In some areas they have succeeded: business, human rights, politics, the arts, the entertainment industry and more. Now they have manipulated God’s Word to make homosexuality sound acceptable. In a promotion for the bible one editor wrote, “You can’t choose your sexuality, but you can choose Jesus. Now you can choose a Bible, too.”
You can’t abide in Jesus if you choose to practice (which suggests continuing to live in) sin. God’s REAL word says you can not live a sinful lifestyle and live in the righteousness of God. The gay bible attempts to remove the stigma of God’s truth and His ultimate judgment from sin God Himself calls abominable.
God loves every creature He creates. He loves gays. He loves Muslims. He loves me. But He hates sin. Gays don’t believe homosexuality is sinful. I guess we’ll all find out the truth soon.

Amen everyone! What blaspheme! Do you know what Wycliffe did? Wycliffe Bible publishing made a Bible in which they combine the Quran into the Christian Bible! They did this because of the whole Chrislam religion that the Purpose Driven preacher is all in support of. Blasphemy! Debauchery! And Apostasy! Awful!

Barnes Notes on the Bible – on John 12:40 states:

He hath blinded their eyes – The expression in Isaiah is, “Go, make the heart of this people fat, and shut their eyes.” That is, go and proclaim truth to them truth that will result in blinding their eyes. Go and proclaim the law and the will of God, and the effect will be, owing to the hardness of their heart, that their eyes will be blinded and their hearts hardened. As God knew that this would be the result – as it was to be the effect of the message, his commanding Isaiah to go and proclaim it was the same in effect, or in the result, as if he had commanded him to blind their eyes and harden their hearts. It is this effect or result to which the evangelist refers in this place. He states that God did it, that is, he did it in the manner mentioned in Isaiah, for we are limited to that in our interpretation of the passage. In that case it is clear that the mode specified is not a direct agency on the part of God in blinding the mind – which we cannot reconcile with any just notions of the divine character – but “in suffering the truth to produce a regular effect on sinful minds, without putting forth any positive supernatural influence to prevent it.” The effect of truth on such minds is to irritate, to enrage, and to harden, unless counteracted by the grace of God. See Romans 7:8-9, Romans 7:11; 2 Corinthians 2:15-16. And as God knew this, and, knowing it, still sent the message, and suffered it to produce the regular effect, the Evangelist says “he hath blinded their minds,” thus retaining the substance of the passage in Isaiah without quoting the precise language; but in proclaiming the truth there was nothing wrong on the part of God or of Isaiah, nor is there any indication that God was unwilling that they should believe and be saved.
That they should not see … – This does not mean that it was the design of God that they should not be converted, but that it was the effect of their rejecting the message.

Bottom-line is man is allowed to go in his perverse and perverted ways because they have chosen it against God’s redemption offer. The perverse man will suffer the consequences if at the end of his life he is not repentant.

I believe the introduction of this gay bible will only cause dissension and conflict, especially in the “feel-good” churches that accept homosexuals in their congregations but don’t address their lifestyle as sin and make efforts to help them escape the bondage of their lifestyle choice.
