HUGE CONGRATULATIONS go to Miss Didi Nicely, one of my all-time favorite teenagers. Didi has been awarded the Presidential Scholarship to Barry College here in Georgia. The scholarship will award her full tuition. Didi recently competed with over 200 other students for scholarship programs at the college.

The college notified her this week that of the more than 200 students who were interviewing and testing for scholarships, Didi graded out in the TOP 10! Not the top 10 percent! The Top Ten Students. I’m not that good at math, but that sounds like it’s way up there. Like in the “Higher than the 99th percentile” I think they call it.

Better than all that, Didi is sold out to Jesus Christ. She is an awesome witness for the Gospel wherever she goes. She has a merciful heart for missions and for helping others.

Prayer Request–Please pray that God will continue to bless Didi and her mom and dad, Daphne and Dean, as they pray for the Lord’s guidance as they make decisions that will impact Didi and her college career. Please pray God’s hand on Didi as she goes off to college and begins her life long journey with the Lord. Please pray that she will remain steadfast in her pursuit of her relationship with Jesus. And please pray for the Lord’s wisdom and leading for Daphne and Dean.
