Dim Sum – He moved my car!

He moved my car!

Behold He that keepeth Israel neither slumber nor sleep. The Lord is thy keeper, the Lord is thy shade upon thy right hand. The sun shall not smite thee by day, nor the moon by night. The Lord shall preserve thee from all evil: He shall preserve Thy soul. The Lord shall preserve thy going out and thy coming in from this time forth, even forever more. Psalm 121:4-8.

The Lord knew before I knew that I was going to black out while driving and turning a bend in the road yesterday.
I was driving in the centre lane of a two lane road and was manoevering a road bend when to my astonishment my car was practically “dragged” to the curb-side by the Lord. When the left font wheel hit the curb I braked and immediately felt the car in motion, spinning as if the left wheels were losing air and the car was landing on its left side. Then it was dark all round. While this was happening I breathed the name of Jesus and claimed protection under His precious blood .

Thank God for His protection as the car on the left lane (we drive on the left side of the road in Singapore) gave me way and the vehicle behind me honked and overtook me. I could hear other cars blaring their horns(as in a distance in my semi-conscious state) as they passed, for my car was parked at an angle by the curbside and was in the way at the road bend with double yellow lines.

When I felt better, I looked at my rear view mirror and got into gear. Then I saw a traffic cop on his motor cycle approaching. He could have given me a hefty fine for parking at the double yellow lines. It was time for me to move on to my destination without any harm to others, self and car and no hefty traffic fine.

Praise the Lord – our Protector never slumbers nor sleep. I thank God His Word is ever true. He saves and He really saves my pocket too from a hefty fine and cost of repairs in these times.
