Dim Sum J-O-Y

Dim Sum – J-O-Y

J – Jesus
O – Others
Y – Yourself
Jesus first, Yourself last, and Others in between.
Joy that fills your day with enthusiasm, energy and drive to fulfil God’s purpose in your life.

Y – Yourself
J – Jesus
O – Others
Why Jo?

Yourself first, Jesus next and others last.
Yourself – I, Me, My, Mine
Jesus – out of the way – I will have My way not Yours, I will do it My way
Others – they have no way – they don’t exist.
Jesus asks – Why Jo? Where is your JOY?
Do you know better than Me? Do you see more than Me? Do you know life is more than today?
Do you not know that unity is strength, it is better two than one?
Do you not know Others have loved you, supported you, prayed for you, financed you, kept you, protected you, defended you?
Where is your respect, appreciation, thanksgiving and praise?
Where is your JOY, Jo?

O – Others
Y – Yourself
J – Jesus
O You Jo?

Others first, Yourself second and Jesus last.
The fields are white to harvest – Yes I must go!
Many are the mouths to feed and the bodies to clothe – Yes I must go!
They are hurting, sick and lonely – Yes I must be there!
I will leave behind those I love, things I care for, I will go.
I will leave, I will go, I will do.
Where’s Jesus? Who, Jesus?
I love, I care, I go in my time, my way, my plan;
It is so difficult, I’m burnt-out, I give up!
O You Jo, Where is Jesus?
Jesus says – Others need, Your strength is great, Where am I?
Where is your strength? Where is your JOY?
O you poor Jo.

Nehemiah 8:10 The JOY of the Lord is your strength.

Job 20: 4,5 Knowest thou not this of old, since man was placed upon earth, that the triumphing of the wicked is short, and the joy of the hypocrite but for a moment?

Psalm 16:11 Thou wilt shew me the path of life: in thy presence is fulness of joy; At thy right hand there are pleasures for evermore.

Psalms 51:12 Restore unto me the joy of thy salvation; and uphold me with thy free spirit.

Psalm 126:5 They that sow in tears, shall reap in joy.

Psalm 126:6 He that goeth forth and weepeth, bearing precious seed, shall doubtless come again with rejoicing, bringing his sheaves with him.

Isaiah 12:3,4,5 Therefore with JOY shall ye draw water out of the wells of salvation And in that day shall ye say, Praise the Lord, call upon His name, declare His doings among the people, Make mention that His name is exalted. Sing unto the Lord; for He hath done excellent things: this is known in all the earth.

Matthew 24:21 His lord said unto him, Well done, thou good and faithful servant; thou has been faithful over a few things,
I will make thee ruler over many things: enter into the JOY of thy Lord.

Luke 15:7 I say unto you, that likewise joy shall be in heaven over one sinner that repenteth, more than over ninety and nine just persons, which need no repentance.

Acts 20:24 But none of these things move me, neither count I my life dear unto myself, so that I might finish my course with JOY, and the ministry, which I have received of the Lord Jesus, to testify the gospel of the grace of God.

Amen.
