CLICK A BLESSING TODAY – Out of our comfort zones

Feeling comfortable

How nice it is to wake up in the morning, feeling secure with job in hand, sufficient to meet the days needs spiritually, physically, financially, emotionally. To remain in our comfort zones is yes, so comforting.

However, that does not happen to everybody, every day, every where. Many a day there is someone in need of a job, some care, some compassion, some financial support, some healing of the body, soul and mind, some spiritual struggle.

It could be you – thrown out of your comfort zone and yes, it could be today.

It happens so often that we cringe each time we face the situation or dilemma.

What should one do when thrown out of one’s comfort zone? Be floored by the enemy who would laugh at you?

Should you be so anxious that you have gastric problems, worse ulcers and cancer? and cannot sleep for fear of knowing you do not know what is happening? Be frettish;so relationships are severed or just bury your head in the sand?

If you have faith even it be ever so small like the size of a mustard seed – hang on to it for it will be the only thing that will keep you up when all else fails outside your comfort zone.

Faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen. It is when you cannot see where you are headed that you need the hope which faith brings. It is when the going gets tough that you need a satisfying, stable base to stand on for the time out. It will be your faith.

What faith are we speaking of when we are outside our comfort zone?

Be it in unemployment, your personal economic melt down to bankruptcy, broken relationship, loss of a loved one or even being sick like a dog – it is that “All things will work together for good to them that love the Lord, to them who are called according to His purpose.”

Amen, all things will work together and we believe in a God who has a purpose planned for each one of us.

The only condition is that we love Him, even to death. Huh? Even to death? Yes, for He died for us and expects our total commitment and submission to Him. Not because we have to, but because He first loved us and gave Himself as our Saviour, and in our appreciation and gratefulness, we present ourselves to Him as it is our reasonable response.

Do you love Jesus Christ your Saviour? Do you love Him? Do you love Him?

Be assured He loves you and will not let anything happen that is not for your good.

Rest assured in His love and you can and will know the confidence that acceptance brings – He knows the way and can lead us into our comfort zones once again… or extend our comfort zones so that we may minister more to those within the extended boundaries.

Praise the Lord.

For I know the plans I have for you declares the Lord, plans to prosper, not to harm you, plans to give you a hope and a future. ” Jeremiah 29:11

He has a plan for you and is there with you. Talk to Him.

A Sunday School chorus we used to sing was:

My Lord knows the way through the wilderness
All I have to do is follow.
My Lord knows the way through the wilderness
All I have to do is follow.
Strength for today, is mine all the way
And all that I need for tomorrow.
My Lord knows the way through the wilderness
All I have to do is follow.

Amen.
