Small Things, Big Impact – Teamwork (12)

Attitudes – Teamwork (12)

No man is an island. We need others in our lives. We need the Lord, we need family, we need friends and we need brothers and sisters in the Lord for support, encouragement, more strength to stand and as the truism says “united we stand, divided we fall”.
The fruit of the Spirit is born out of our teamwork in love in His grace and mercy.

Some of us are introverts. It will take extra effort but we need to reach out as the Lord has shown and been The Example for us. He loved us before we loved Him. Yes if we reach out to others in love they will react and be touched by your love.

The children are taught to sing this chorus:

When we all work together, together, together,
When we all work together
How happy we will be
For your work is my work.
A nd our work is God’s work
When we all work together
How happy we will be.

There is something about teamwork that makes us strong and happy in the Lord.
We are social beings and the Lord’s work is our work – He commissioned us to go out to the world to preach the gospel and to make disciples. We need to go to the peoples of the world – and He sent His disciples out two by two.

Churches were formed and His chosen lived in communities. They rubbed each other – with the Truth, with good and helped each other become better in the Lord. The Lord had His team of twelve.

There is safety in numbers and among His children there is some protection which the enemy knows. That is why he would have us to be lonely, depressed, unsupported in the wild, wide world. If he can isolate us to I, me, my, he is more likely to succeed in pawing us to weakness and failure spiritually.

Let us be team players in this Christian life – we need to reach out, we need people and people need the Lord. Let us bring others to Him and be examples of God’s love. He calls us to love the Lord with all our hearts, souls and stremgth. and love others as ourselves.

We need teamwork with the Holy Spirit in sowing the seed and He giving life to the unsaved.. May the Lord help and anoint us to work with others to fulfil His Great Commission and win some to Him. – we must influence them for Him.

Father, send us to those who need You.
He says “Come now, and let us reason together, saith the LORD: though your sins be as scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they be red like crimson, they shall be as wool.” Isaiah 1:18

That is team-work at the highest level – Come now and let us reason together. .

J – Jesus
O – Others
Y- Yourself
JOY Jesus first, Yourself last and Others in between.

This series Small Things, Great Impact is to identify everyday seemingly little things which have great impact on my life. Perhaps nobody but I and the Lord kinow about them. They have their rewards or denials. I am sharing with hope to help someone weaker in the Christian life and to improve if others have more to share from their beliefs and experience.

Praise the Lord, that as we realise our individual limitations, we can tap on each other’s giftings so that as a team we can accomplish great things for God more than on an individual basis. When the Holy Spirit is in the team, it is blessed.

God said, “Let, “us” create man in “our own” image”.
    Teamwork…Three distinct personalities…one God!
    …God the Father
    …God the son
    …God the Holy Spirit
All working together for one cause.

The Comforter has come to prepare hearts for the soon return of Christ.
