Dim Sum – Do I, don’t I?

Yet another right-wing uber-con hypocrite busted

Do not say and not do, and do not hear and not do! You will be damned.

Do not be a hypocritical professor and deceive yourself

21 “Not everyone who says to me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ will enter the kingdom of heaven, but only the one who does the will of my Father who is in heaven. 22 Many will say to me on that day, ‘Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in your name and in your name drive out demons and in your name perform many miracles?’ 23 Then I will tell them plainly, ‘I never knew you. Away from me, you evildoers!’ Matthew 7:21-23

Jesus warns those who under the guise of loud profession of being Christians, are really hypocrites because they do not obey the Lord in their hearts.  Even the devil can perform miracles and know the Word of God. Do not be deceived that you are going to heaven if you are like them, you pray in Jesus’ Name and do not own Him as Lord of your life,  and even do miracles by sleight of satan. Jesus said He will  unequivocally say  “‘I never knew you. Away from me, you evildoers!’  if we are not  obedient to God’s will in the heart.

Do not be foolish.

Therefore everyone who hears these words of mine and puts them into practice is like a wise man who built his house on the rock. 25 The rain came down, the streams rose, and the winds blew and beat against that house; yet it did not fall, because it had its foundation on the rock. 26 But everyone who hears these words of mine and does not put them into practice is like a foolish man who built his house on sand. 27 The rain came down, the streams rose, and the winds blew and beat against that house, and it fell with a great crash.” Matthew 7:24-27.,

What were the similarities between the wise and foolish man?

Both could have been involved in religious activities such as attending the same church, both partiicipating in the same Bible studies, looking religious to all concerned, BUT those founded on sand did not have their foundation (rock vs sand)  of those activities based  on  obedience to the Word of God with evidence of the life change that Christ makes for those who truly believe.

Do not be deceived as many are –

– Have you re-examined and reviewed your position in Christ? Do not assume you are headed for heaven if your life does not show that your faith has not resulted in a change of lifestyle and action

– Do you pray in Jesus’ Name and know the Word of God? – knowing with head knowledge is not enough, make sure you believe in Jesus and your actions are based on the Word of God with fruit to show that you belong to Jesus and that He is Lord of your life. No empty “Lord, lord” will do.

– Do you perform  the miracles and super Bible studies you do at church or among fellow believers?  These are not sufficient in themselves as the devils can appear as an angel of light and do them too.  Only Jesus-believing and acting faith for the miracles in Jesus’ authority and Name are the ones which are true and will bring salvation from sin for you and  to those who are being prayed for.

No baptism certificate without evidence of an inward life change is effective to bring you to heaven.  Prayer without faith in God will not be accepted for entrance to heaven. So friend, please ensure you are truly on your way to heaven. Only through Jesus Christ, the Only Way, the Truth and the Life. Only a life changing experience in Him will assure you your home in heaven. Faith without works is dead. Beware the trap of the enemy!

BE wise……..take stock of your status today .. are you headed to heaven ?

Are you  in jeopardy of hearing ““I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity”?
