Dim Sum – Just one more…

English: Sim Lim Square in Singapore.

Prone to fall and propelled at full momentum to the ground another time, head first.

That was me this afternoon. After church as I was in town, I stopped by the Sim Lim Square,  world renowned to many tourists for computer related bargains. I needed a Toshiba laptop battery to replace my fully depleted one, to ensure that my laptop would perform when I needed it to, day or night, yes for communicating by email, ministry chatting,  blogging including on ChristianBlessings..

The basement carpark was deserted of people although it was packed with parked cars. My fall did not stop till my forehead hit the ground after tripping a separator of two rows of parking lots back to back.  Stunned for a few seconds, I found that  I could not see clearly at first, my head was heavy and my little right pinky was hurting for my newly purchased  laptop battery, printer toners and handbag had been carried by my  right hand and when I landed my pinky was hit hardest caught between the laptop battery and the ground. Thank God my head did not hit any curb (as it did when I was six when I was knocked out unconscious for three full days and nights) or car.  I picked myself up and headed for my car. All the way claiming the healing of the Lord as the bump on my forehead and right eye throbbed as I quickly drove all the way home when I could.

Now at 10pm, about 6 hours after the incident, I have a big bump on my forehead with no sign of bruise having been treated with cold compress, eyes are right, spectacle frame a little bent, right glass scratched beyond repair to be replaced, right hand which was stiff with swollen pinky is feeling much better with some exercise. Praise the Lord no broken right pinky to match my crooked left one which was hit by a netball out of joint during a netball match fifty years ago.

Praise the Lord for once again He has protected me from serious harm and His healing hand has been upon me this whole afternoon since the fall. I praise the Lord that it is just not one more accidental  fall, it is another testimony of His care and the fact that when I  was  surprised by sudden fear,  He was not asleep.

I could have been knocked unconscious, and been hurt in just an unexpected  minute or suffered broken bones or been blinded  etc.. but I did not. I must say it was the hand of God on me today. I want to glorify Him by acknowledging  with thanks, His protection and Omnipresence in my life. Praise the Lord. Indeed His eye was on me today.  Amen.

I am safe to serve again. Hallelujah! Thank You Jesus.
