Click a Blessing Today – He knows what He is doing all the time

Recently I wrote the following email message to a brother and his dear wife who have been through difficult times:
“He (The Lord) knows what He is doing all the time, although we often don’t.” That has prompted this blog and is posted here for my brother and whoever reads this who needs a helping hand to hang in there.

Knowing that truth often makes the difference when we go through the valleys of life experiences, yes even through the valley of the shadow of death.

Discussing death at this time of the year is taboo to many Asians (I am not sure of Westerners) but when we talk of death finally in the context of the Lord’s plan and control we, children of God, saved by the Lord Jesus Christ, sustained by the Holy Spirit, emerge with greater confidence in Him and in our faith and we become overcomers and victorious to live the abundant life in Him and with Him today.

Knowing this that He Who has begun a good work in you will complete it till the day of Jesus Christ (Philippians 1:6) instills confidence and hope that it is for our good that interim things, trials and temptations and tribulations happen to us. Yes, they are in there so that the Lord can complete His good work in us and it shall be so and we will understand it all in glory when we see Him face to face.
“It will be worth it all when we see Jesus. One glimpse of His dear face, all sorrow will erase, So bravely run the race till we see Christ.”

Knowing the truth that He is in control helps us to
– be in submission to His plans when all we feel is the pain right now, and can only wonder what is happening or what lies ahead
– tap into His strength and peace and joy which is beyond human understanding which He has provided – My God shall supply ALL your needs according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:19)
– comfort one another with His unchanging Word and promises and to pray for one another
– lift up our eyes to our soon coming King of kings and Lord of lords – Even so come quickly, Lord Jesus, and let us purpose more so with the end in sight when we shall behold Him, the time according to His will when we hear Him say “Well done, thou good and faithful servant, enter into all the Lord has prepared for you.”

When we see Christ Word by Esther Kerr Rusthoi are words of encouragement :

Oft times the day seems long, our trials hard to bear,
We’re tempted to complain, to murmur and despair;
But Christ will soon appear to catch His Bride away,
All tears forever over in God’s eternal day.

It will be worth it all when we see Jesus,
Life’s trials will seem so small when we see Christ;
One gliimpse of His dear face all sorrow will erase,
So bravely run the race till we see Christ.

Sometimes the sky looks dark with not a ray of light,
We’re tossed and driven on , no human help in sight;
But there is one in heav’n who knows our deepest care,
Let Jesus solve your problem – just go to Him in pray’r.

It will be worth it all when we see Jesus,
Life’s trials will seem so small when we see Christ;
One gliimpse of His dear face all sorrow will erase,
So bravely run the race till we see Christ.

Life’s day will soon be o’er, all storms forever past,
We’ll cross the great divide, to glory, safe at last;
We’ll share the joys of heav’n – a harp, a home, a crown,
The tempter will be banished, we’ll lay our burden down.

It will be worth it all when we see Jesus,
Life’s trials will seem so small when we see Christ;
One gliimpse of His dear face all sorrow will erase,
So bravely run the race till we see Christ.

Listen now, It will be worth it after all, child of God.

Yes, those of us who are on ChristianBlessings who can pray, let us uphold those who are going through their valleys at this time of the year when many are depressed in their own hopelessness and regret, that they will receive the strength, all might from the Lord to the end.
