My Christmas

Christmas was a quiet time today for the Mock household.  Me and hubby spent the day enjoying the time off from work.  We both work six days a week.  However, he works more hours than myself.  It is a Christmas present within itself to have three days of down time together.  We enjoy each other’s company even though we work together in the same workplace six days a week. My husband is my best friend and there is nobody I would rather spend my time with than him.

I began my day with time spent with the Lord.  I spent extra time in praise and worship.  His presence was felt and the tears flowed.  Tears of joy, of course.  I do not always feel His presence, so it was a wonderful Christmas gift for me. My husband got me a Nintendo DS and an IPad and I greatly appreciate both gifts with my heart.  But, nothing compares to the gifts of His presence and three days of down time with my hubby.

I truly believe that 2012 will be an exciting year for the Mock’s.  Our church will begin a Bible study correspondence school, in association with Andrew Wommack’s Charis Bible College, in January.  I look forward to gaining knowledge in the truths of His Word and pray that I am successful in applying the knowledge to my every day life.  Lord, give me wisdom and opportunities to use this wisdom. Hope your own Christmas was a blessed one!

Praise the Lord He planned that we should have down times like the days and nights, with nights for sleeping and recovery. Of course, there are those who work at night and sleep in the day and make it too in His plan for physical, mental and emotional recovery.

Praise the Lord when we have Tim-Outs for fellowship, it is in the order of the Master Plan too when we get our perspectives right and are not consumed by worldly standards past His Master Plan in working overtime .

Praise the Lord when we have our upwards relationship with the Lord right, we too can have right relationships laterally, with people He made whom He puts in our lives, as blessings and to be a blessing to.

Praise the Lord, Debra, you found your peace – with God, with hubby, fellow workers and brothers and sisters in the Lord. Happy 2012 to you and all.

That is what Christmas is about – peace on earth, good will to man.
