Click a Blessing Today – Don’t forget – the mountains

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7Bla_qQ_Gvo&feature=related

Periodically, and especially in a brand new year with far to go for the rest of the year,  we need to remind ourselves that the Lord will take care of us.  Yes, He is the Creator of the universe, the One who made the mountains, sun, moons, stars, sparrows and lilies of the fields, who looks after us even when we forget, fret and fume when things go wrong.

When the earth practically moves under our feet with earthquakes physical, emotional or spiritual, when the tsunamis of surprising tides of changing global  fashions and fads, risks of all dimensions seem to overwhelm us with their speed, pure force and immensity, we have to bow to our Creator of the Universe and say “Lord, only You have control over everything. Please take care of me for I am terribly exposed and can so easily be undone.”

When mountains of bills, life pressures, unprecedented challenges seem insurmountable we are to remember we can fly on His eagle wings,  on the wind that only He can blow so we rise and are lifted above the mountains into the heavenlies and find the security and strength to surmount all, to find them far below, with the extended limits of fortitude He gives.

Amen.. when we come to the extremes of life, when we are weakest, when we feel we can no longer hang in there and our faith is just so small the size of a mustard seed – He comes, His precious Holy Spirit, gentle as a dove. and turns the tide of opposition, unbelievable difficulties and challenges, and  He helps us  focus our faith on Him,  to stand on the Solid Rock Christ Jesus.

Hallelujah! from the miry clay to the Solid Rock Christ Jesus. Only those who know Jesus Christ as Saviour and Lord can have this wondrous experience. We shall overcome rested in  and on Him whatever 2012 brings.

Drusilla, As you may know, I write my blogs some time before the posting date and schedule them to be posted. In His Omniscience I have found that His timing is always perfect even in the release and posting of our blogs. He knows what is happening today and any day in the future. With pure motives in love with Him, we avail ourselves and He takes care of the rest to achieve His purpose. Praise the Lord.
Praise the Lord you were blessed today. Continue to be a blessing.

    Philippians 4:4
Rejoice in the Lord always. I will say it again: Rejoice!

    Luke 12:27
“Consider how the wild flowers grow. They do not labor or spin. Yet I tell you, not even Solomon in all his splendor was dressed like one of these.

    Philippians 4:6
Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God.

    Great post, thank you! 🙂
Just thought of these verses as I read this.
    God bless

The mountains are said to sing, to raise hosannas with us for spiritual victories along the way of our spiritual journeys.

    • ptl2010 says:

Amen. If the people of God do not praise Him, the rocks will do. May we not be neglectful and unappreciative of His victories in our lives.

      Blessings Ms granbee.
