According to the will of God, Jesus suffered, bled, and died so fallen men could be redeemed and Justified by the Grace of God.
Gal. 1:4…Grace be to you and peace from God the Father, and from our Lord Jesus Christ, Who gave himself for our sins, that he might deliver us from this present evil world, according to the will of God:
According to the will of God Christians are “delivered” from evil
According to the will of God, Fallen men can be broken. When the human will is broken and taken out of the picture, “God’s will be done”.
According to will of God broken men believe and become accepters of Christ. Broken-ness comes from above and “breaks” the will of man to a place of “belief and trust in the person of Christ”.
According to the will of God, Fallen men are convicted by the holy presence of the Spirit of God. When they realize what Christ did and who He is… sin is revealed to their heart and mind by the power that flows from Calvary. Then man’s personal sins are forgiven and the penitent heart is made clean and holy. A position in Christ is found by the believer of Christ…according to the will of God.
According to the will of God holy men of God are “led” by the Spirit of God…not human choice.
According to the will of God the Holy Spirit “urges” men to carry the Gospel message to the unbelieving world. This is a decision made by God Almighty. Men subject to Him do the will of the Father…like Christ did.
Apostles (after the death of a Saviour) are “sent” by a resurrected Christ. Christ sends men according to His will. Paul was made an Apostle of the resurrection of Christ…according to the will of God. God decided what Paul should do and where he should carry the Gospel.
Behind the will of man is, “Sin”. The will of man is not God’s Will. The ways of man are not God’s ways. The thoughts of man are not God’s thoughts.
Isa. 55:8-9…For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, saith the LORD. For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways, and my thoughts than your thoughts
The perfect will of God is to have your daily position in the person of Christ, every minute, every hour, every day…a new man, a clean heart, a child of God. Glory! Born of the Spirit, according to the will of God…not the will of man. God calls, God chooses, and God decides whats best for his family.
