Free from the Stronghold of Darkness

The romancing of darkness has infiltrated our lives. It needs to stop. It invites a demonic presence into a light starved world.

This presence slithers in through the worship of a god [demon] called Samhain. The worship of this god of darkness is a stronghold that has abducted millions of teens and young adults for generations.

A spirit of rebellion invites it in. It is not cool to worship this god and carry or adorn our homes with images of the occult–sculls, carcass eating scavengers, blood dripping dangers, and other symbols of death.

Death worship invites a demon of darkness that can bring permanent death into our own lives and the lives of those we love.

This worship is a deceptive cloak of the enemy [Satan]. He is not our friend. He should not be worshiped in any way. He will kill our joy, steal our life, and destroy our very being if we continue.

If you wonder why you don’t have peace, why fear permeates your life, why torment, worry, and strife seem to stalk, look around. What images are occupying your life? Do you spend your precious time, money, and attention honoring Satan? Think about it. If so, you are opening a door that allows demonic strongholds to run your life whether you believe it or not.

5 Biblical tips to overcome darkness:

1. Receive Christ if you haven’t already. If you have, stop betraying him, repent and get right with God. The afterlife is very real. Will you continue on in victory or defeat?.

Mark 14:61-62 But He kept still and did not answer at all. Again the high priest asked Him, Are You the Christ (the Messiah, the Anointed One), the Son of the Blessed? 62And Jesus said, I AM; and you will [all] see the Son of Man seated at the right hand of Power (the Almighty) and coming on the clouds of heaven.
John 3:16 16God loved the world this way: He gave his only Son so that everyone who believes in him will not die but will have eternal life.

2. Worship God alone.

Isaiah 42:8 I am the Lord; that is My name! And My glory I will not give to another, nor My praise to graven images.

3. Remove any images that invite or honor death such as sculls, crossbones, skeletons, and so forth. They are demonic idols.

Deuteronomy 7:26 Neither shall you bring an abomination (an idol) into your house, lest you become an accursed thing like it; but you shall utterly detest and abhor it, for it is an accursed thing.
2 Chronicles 19:3 But there are good things found in you, for you have destroyed the Asherah poles [cult objects] out of the land and have set your heart to seek God [with all your soul’s desire].

4. Read the Word. Read what Jesus says about himself, the afterlife, and God, the Father.

Mark 12:24-27 24Jesus said to them, Is not this where you wander out of the way and go wrong, because you know neither the Scriptures nor the power of God? 25For when they arise from among the dead, [men] do not marry nor 26But concerning the dead being raised–have you not read in the book of Moses, [in the passage] about the [burning] bush, how God said to him, I am the God of Abraham and the God of Isaac and the God of Jacob. 27He is not the God of [the] dead, but of [the] living! You are very wrong.

5. Keep your attention on God and the good things He did and promised to do for you. He can and will [if you ask] deliver you from the deepest stronghold of darkness.
