Goose droppings and gossip. Wrecking a nice walk outside

It is an absolutely beautiful day here. I just had to get outside for a bit, so took a walk. A portion of the sidewalk where I was meandering was covered with goose ! Gotta love them gooses…

Well, let’s face it, Canadian geese are very prevalent here. Sometimes they are kind of a pain. Now, this morning, there must have been a HUGE herd of geese that decided to facilitate on the sidewalk. And they must have all had an abundant breakfast.

Yesterday I had a long discussion about the ugliness of gossip. It hit me that these two things are related. (Well, count on good ol’ Art to make strange connections… I relating these goose droppings to gossip, NOT the person I was talking with.)

When we gossip, we’re like that herd of geese… just pooping all over the place! And gossip is just plain pooping on the person being gossiped about.

Then everyone else has to be careful and step around the goose .
