Secret Sins?

There is no such thing as a secret sin in the eyes of God. God knows what goes on in secret. The Bible says, “The eyes of the Lord are upon the righteous but His face is against them who do evil”. God knows your personal life and the condition of your heart and soul. You know your own accountability to the one who redeemed and cleansed your heart from sin and unrighteousness. If secret sinful things are going on in your heart and life you’re not kidding God, you’re just fooling yourself. This is called the deception of sin.

What goes on behind the eyes of man is seen in the eyes of God. In man’s eyes things can be kept secret, but in the eyes of God there are no secrets and nothing is hidden. What God sees is one of the most important things a man can ever know.  There were no secret sins in the creation of Adam. After the fall, Christ was promised to restore fallen man with what Adam lost. Adam lost the divine nature. Restoration found in Christ is what God works into the heart of a believer.  Redemption is found. Redemption from the death of Christ brings restoration to the human soul. Restoration from Christ gives the believer a divine nature.

What God “works into” the heart of a believer in Christ (the divine nature) is clean and holy. What the child of God “works out” (as a result of the divine nature) is likewise clean and holy. Secret sins are not produced from the divine nature, the redeemed heart, or the holy life of a child of God. Sin is not essential  in the heart or life of a child of God. The heart and life of a child of God is innocent; naked without guilt; and open in the eyes of God. The divine nature is restored. Without secret sins. Without fig-leafs to hide behind. Without deception caused from sin. Without false thinking. The Bible defines the greatness of the divine nature found in the records of the New Testament. It’s a new creation that takes place in the heart and life of a believer in Christ,

Hebrews 13:20,21…Now the God of peace, that brought again from the dead our Lord Jesus, that great shepherd of the sheep, through the blood of the everlasting covenant, Make you perfect in every good work to do his will, working in you that which is wellpleasing in his sight, through Jesus Christ; to whom be glory for ever and ever

What God “works in”… children of God “work out”. What is worked in? The divine nature. The beauties of holiness, the clean heart,  and right living straight from the Throneroom. In the beauties of holiness there are no secret sins. Everything in the heart of a believer in Christ is kept in right-standing with God. Nothing needs to be concealed or hidden. No shame. No guilt. No condemnation. A new nature. This is perfect love. Love for God Almighty who made you this way. Subject to the one who made you a new creation. Helpless without His Holy presence. Helpless without His mercy and pardon. Dependant on His saving Grace without disgrace.  Happy to bring honor to Christ and not dishonor. Without secret sins going on that the eyes of man cannot see.

God sees all and I’m glad. Secret sins? No such thing in the heart of a child of God. A new creation in Christ is obedient and accountable to the Creator. Without shame, without guilt, without condemnation and without any secret sins…like Adam and Eve before the Fall. All because of the promised Christ… children of God are restored to a state of holiness…to do those things wellpleasing in His sight.

My Blogs contain a vast library of Theological writings, teaching videos, and preaching audios that currently go around the globe for the cause of Christ. I write at Christian Blessings on Wordpress, Holy Hubert Lindsey Group on Facebook, Churches on Trial at Google, publish You Tube videos, record sermons at holy.sermon.net, etc. I also pastor a Church called the Upper Room in Williamsburg, Ohio . My secular Blog called Southwestern Ohio Fishing on Wordpress is where I write about experiences with my son and fishing partner Chad where we together enjoy Mother Nature’s beauty mixed with Father God’s creation. At Southwestern Ohio Fishing Blog I also publish favorite recipes for those who enjoy eating and cooking as much as this writer does.
