Ephesians 1:4…according as he hath chosen us in him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blame before him in love:
Holiness of heart begins when you recognize a personal forgiveness that comes through the precious blood of a Savior that hung on the cross. Your personal recognition of Christ’s redemptive work at Calvary is what brings forgiveness from God… and makes the heart clean and holy. Personal forgiveness and personal holiness of heart comes when man recognizes what Christ did…according to the riches of God’s Grace.
Ephesians 1:7…In whom we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of his grace
Man is not forgiven and made holy just because he asked. God grants forgiveness of sins and gives holiness of heart because of man’s recognition of what Christ did as Savior and Redeemer. Man’s recognition of the redemptive work of Christ brings personal forgiveness from sin, holiness of heart, and holiness of conduct. Holiness is given when redemption of the human soul takes place…according to the riches of God’s Grace.
Holiness of heart is essential to being a child of God.
