“I AM!”
He is:
-
The way through which people find
God
-
The promise that all who believe in Him will have eternal life
-
The supplier of all of our needs
-
Deliverer of God’s truths to all people of all nations
-
The way for all of humanity to discover God and become God’s children
What did Jesus say about Himself?
-
I AM the one who raises the dead to life (John 11:25-27)
-
I AM the gate for the sheep (John 10:7-10)
-
-
I AM the light for the world! (John 8:12)
-
I AM the bread that gives life! (John 6:47-51)
-
I AM the good shepherd (John 10:11-16)
-
I Am the vine (John 15:5-7)
Who do you say I AM?
Jesus moved people’s hearts and touched their lives immensely. He healed the sick, raised the dead, cast out demons, forgave, and loved. Whenever He spoke, it was with authority and boldness. The reason He had such authority and power was because Jesus wasn’t just a man; He was God in the flesh!
Mark 8:27-30
27 Now Jesus and His disciples went out to the towns of Caesarea Philippi; and on the road He asked His disciples, saying to them, “Who do men say that I am?”
28 So they answered, “John the Baptist; but some say, Elijah; and others, one of the prophets.”
29 He said to them, “But who do you say that I am?”
Peter answered and said to Him, “You are the Christ.”
30 Then He strictly warned them that they should tell no one about Him.
