I LIFT UP MY EYES – Psalm 3:3,4

Psalm 3:3,4 : But you, Lord, are a shield around me,   my glory, the One who lifts my head high. I call out to the Lord,  and he answers me from his holy mountain.

Response:  As David  declares his confidence in You my Lord,  I too can be confident in You.  As Your child  I may  startle and  despair of help but I can be sure when I call You will hear me. .  Teach me O Lord that You are my  Safety, my shield everyday,  giving me  protection in time of trouble  even when I am unaware of Your protection. When my enemies surround me, I need not be crestfallen or shameful for Lord You honour those who are Yours and have placed true honour upon me. Thank You God, I can have joy and deliverance. In the worst of times, You lift  up my head  with peace and  joy, and I know that all shall work for my  good . Thank You  God, You are the cause for my heart’s rejoicing today and everyday.  Praise Your Name forevermore. Amen.

We are fortified in Him. Precious.

  2. No matter what happens in my life; no matter what sort of attack or calamity or problem of any sort, my amazing, omnipotent Father God is in control. He has me in His hand and in His care. He is beside me, in front of me, behind me, round about me, over me and underneath me. He holds me. He protects me. He delivers me. No matter what, I am His – forever.

    What an amazing God!
