Faith Child – Serving Him? Thank You!

Thank You Jesus for the opportunity to serve You each day of my life. What am I that You should love me and count me as dearest of all Your creation?

Lord, remind me that You can take from me at any time, my life and everything that You have given,  but You have chosen me and You are counting on me to be Your hand extended and Your mouthpiece to declare Your works among us, and to give the message of reconciliation to those who are estranged from You.

Lord, I feel humbled and as I serve You may I also lead my fellow pilgrims to give thanks to You,  for in appreciating You we will not forget that You are the Inspiration, the Author and Finisher of our faith. You are the One who has called us to salvation and we are to live in praise of You.  We are not our own, bought with the price of Your blood,  and  Yours to keep and to hold while we are on this earth – Your channels of blessing to a world that is lost.

Father, as I appreciate Your mercies every morning help me be merciful to those I minister. To forgive when they do not know what they do. To forgive when they have slandered us or Your name  in ignorance, to teach and correct in love those who need correction and discipline, to be firm and courageous when it involves Your Word and precepts.

Bear within me the fruit of the Spirit that I will be a sweet fragrance to You and to the people around me. Fill  me with Your love, joy, peace, forbearance, kindness, goodness, faithfulness,23 gentleness and self-control. Let me share Your goodness to all around.

Keep me humble and at the foot of the cross daily – cleansed and washed by the blood of the Lamb, worthy in Christ’s righteousness alone and being continuously  filled with Your Holy Spirit,, so that the spring of living water will flow out of my belly to the needy and that spring never shall run dry as I tap on Your everlasting spring of life.

Father You are worthy, help me walk with courage and dignity in Your Name, bearing the cross of Jesus and raising Your standard to a world that is oppressed and possessed with the desires of the evil one. May I win one soul today with Your guidance and discernment, and love that soul through me, that Your kingdom may come soon and very soon.

Keep me thankful in every circumstance for You are my All in all. Amen.

In everything give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you. I Thessalonians 5:18

Be reminded that The Lord does not like murmuring children as with the Israelites.

  1. The greatest privilege we have in this life is to be used by the almighty, omnipotent, creator God: to be an instrument in His hand as He reaches out to others with His love, mercy and grace. The greatest privilege – but NOTHING of our own doing. It is ONLY because He chooses to work in us and through us to achieve His purpose. Thank You, Lord! Thank You!

God is good and worthy of praise and thanksgiving M.T. As we praise and thank Him our eyes are turned to Him, and we see Him larger than any problem, or temptation in this world and stronger than the onslaught from the enemy. We have the victory in Christ naturally.

      Turn your eyes upon Jesus
Look full in His wonderful face
And the things of earth will grow strangely dim
In te light of His glory and grace.
