Trust defined

Trust is built on the Word of Truth.  The Word of Truth pertains to what is preached about the person of Christ who was, who is, and who will always be. The Word of Truth is ministered to the world around us.

Trust built on truth about Christ will endure through life for the long haul. Trust built on the opinions of men will fall; fail; and doubt God thus causing one to stagger, waver, or perhaps go back into the world outside of Christ.  Trusting the Word of Truth will build confidence and immovable faith in a Savior’s love for humanity.  Trusting the opinions of men will bring doubt and uncertainty which can cause separation or even loss of Salvation.

The Word of Truth teaches purity that causes men to stand strong by trusting Christ. Purity confirms that Christ is greater than human ability.  Men teach impurity and failure. The Word of Truth teaches purity and victory. Purity and victory come from trusting the unsearchable riches of Christ. Purity occurs 160 times in the Bible. Read it for yourself if you think I’m making it up. Purity is found and experienced when people find and hold onto the truth about the person of Christ.

Trust is formed when the truth about purity is revealed to the human soul.  Trust is formed when forgiveness is found. Forgiveness is experienced in a conscience that trusts Christ for personal redemption.  Trust is lived out when the Holy Spirit has full sway of your heart and conduct.  Walking in the light is an actual Christian experience. Trust in Christ is the nucleus of a clean heart and pure lifestyle in the eyes of God.

Trust is fueled and fortified by the Word of Truth. Trust is disintegrated and made shallow by the enticing words of men who tell the hearers things that are out of line with the Word of Truth. Trust brings joy and happiness through a life in Christ. Trust is based on the Truth of the Word. You can trust what you hear about Christ everyday of your life. You can  trust what you hear about Christ so much that you can have contentment everyday of your life. Unlearned or unknowledgable men will teach you defeat, impurity, doubt, failure, and worldly things outside of the Word of Truth. Much of the reason men fail God is because men from behind the pulpit are teaching people to fail, and struggle, and be defeated, and to live impure. Sad but true. Just look around if you don’t believe me.

Trust in the Word of Truth has great merit for the believing soul. Trust Christ with everything you’ve got. Christ will never let you down but the opinions of men will let you down. Trusting Christ guarantees your purity and future hope. Do you trust Christ?

About rickroehm

Since 1988 I’ve been writing and doing service for the Lord. It all began in 1987 after a personal walk began with the Lord. This personal walk with the Lord I speak of turned into extensive Bible studies and later evolved into blogging in early 2000. At present I write, author, and publish several different sites on the Internet. My Blogs contain a vast library of Theological writings, teaching videos, and preaching audios that currently go around the globe for the cause of Christ. I write at Christian Blessings on Wordpress, Holy Hubert Lindsey Group on Facebook, Churches on Trial at Google, publish You Tube videos, record sermons at, etc. I also pastor a Church called the Upper Room in Williamsburg, Ohio . My secular Blog called Southwestern Ohio Fishing on Wordpress is where I write about experiences with my son and fishing partner Chad where we together enjoy Mother Nature’s beauty mixed with Father God’s creation. At Southwestern Ohio Fishing Blog I also publish favorite recipes for those who enjoy eating and cooking as much as this writer does. Thanks for sharing your time and life with this writer at the Blogs. Here's more access to my ministry and fishing Blog if you'd care to check them out further. So true! I have known, loved and served the living God, through the Lord Jesus, for 54 of my 76 years, and in that time, He has NEVER let me down. I know that He never will.

We serve an incredibly amazing God who delights to lead us in His way and to undertake for us every step of the way when we trust Him and follow Him.

Trust is born when faith takes hold of the Word of God and obeys it.
