Please Pray For A Dear Friend And Her Daughter

I just received a prayer request from a dear friend of ours at church. Daphne Nicely and her daughter, Didi, are attending a scholarship competition today. Didi is an absolutely brilliant, loving 18-year-old who has earned all sorts of academic honors as a home-schooled student. She will be competing today and tomorrow for academic and life-experience scholarships that could ultimately fund most, if not all, of her college education.

Didi’s heart is for missions. She has been to Romania several times with her mom and dad and developed wonderful relationships with children and orphans there. She loves the Lord and witnesses unashamedly to kids her age and adults as well. She is creative beyond words in both art and writing. God has given her amazing gifts, talents and abilities. The best part is, she wants to use all God has given her to glorify God with her life.

Her mom asked us to pray “for wisdom, guidance and favor as we navigate between Didi’s options for college and that she finishes her senior year strong; but ultimately that she will continue to surrender to God’s will and purpose for her life in order to bring honor and glory to Him.”

She has loving, caring parents who have guided her in God’s Truth all her life. They, however, are not in position to help her financially. Please pray that God will provide all she needs to equip her to live her live in surrendered service to our awesome God.

Thank you.

  2. ptl2010 says:

5 Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding.
6 In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths.

The promise that if Daphne will trust The Lord with all her heart , The Lord will direct her path.He did it for me, He will do for her.

I will be praying for the Lord’s leading and provision for Daphne for He is good.
