Christian Tagalog Blog – Just do it!

What good is it, my brothers, if a man claims to have faith but has no deeds? Can such faith save him? Suppose a brother or sister is without clothes and daily food. If one of you says to him, Go, I wish you well; keep warm and well fed, but does nothing about his physical needs, what good is it? In the same way, faith by itself, if it is not accompanied by action, is dead. (New International Version 1984) – James 2:14-17

When the Holy Spirit causes you to “see” or “hear” of a need
in your brother or sister in the Lord
or even in a stranger you may not know,
Be like the Good Samaritan,
whisper a prayer to your Father in heaven
” Is it I Lord that You want to be kind and helpful to that one?”
and if His peace and joy is poured into Your heart
Just do it!

Be a blessing in love,
Yes  Just do it?
You do not know how many people you will bless if you Just do it
You do not know how many opportunities and blessings you will  miss
If you do not Just do it.

He calls you to love your God with all  you  have
And to love your neighbour as yourself.
He wants you to Just do it! according to His Word.

  1. Helping someone in need should be our natural response. However, sometimes the helper is called to go out of their way, changing their plans and maybe causing others inconvenience if we have appointments to meet. We should always be open to the prompting of Holy Spirit and ready to ‘just do it’ if He so directs.
