Bringing people to remembrance of Christ

Christ is the wisdom of God. Preaching and teaching Christ “stirs” people to look to Christ. Peter who was an actual witness to Christ testified…how God actually spoke from Heaven about Christ saying, “This is my beloved Son, in whom I’m well pleased”. Peter was reminded of such by the Spirit of Truth.

Today we have a more sure word of prophecy…and enthroned Christ who sent His Spirit from Heaven to minister truth and holiness to our hearts and minds.

Stirring people to look to Christ is a great work. We must alway keep the person of Christ in memory. Remembrance of Christ keeps man and the problems of life out of the picture. Remembrance of Christ keeps man’s enticing words out of the picture. Remembrance keeps Christ as our Lord and Savior. Stirring people to Christ allows the Spirit to work and stir men to accountability, subjection, and dependency on Christ as a living Savior and Lord of Heaven that provides.

Bringing Christ to remembrance eliminates falsities and deception from creeping into our lives and understanding about God. Bible Truth and the Holy Spirit are revealed. Bible Truth and the Holy Spirit are taught. Bible Truth and the Holy Spirit both magnify the wisdom of God at the person of Christ. Bible Truth and the Holy Spirit are constant reminders of Christ in light of the wisdom of man.

Human wisdom allows the following. Be cautious of such:

Cunningly devised fables
Strange doctrines
Pagan Religions

All the above forms of humanism only create confusion, mysticism, falsity, doubt, and unbelief in the eyes and hearts of the child of God. Christ is our personal peace and hope. Christ is our personal righteousness and holiness of heart. Christ is our way of life morally different from the ways of selfishness in the world. Christ is our personal forgiveness. Christ is our personal obedience and holiness. Christ allows us to have Grace enough to deny ungodliness and worldly lust. So we can be godly and right in this present world. Christianity is simple and easy.

Do you keep Christ in memory?

About rickroehm

Since 1988 I’ve been writing and doing service for the Lord. It all began in 1987 after a personal walk began with the Lord. This personal walk with the Lord I speak of turned into extensive Bible studies and later evolved into blogging in early 2000. At present I write, author, and publish several different sites on the Internet. My Blogs contain a vast library of Theological writings, teaching videos, and preaching audios that currently go around the globe for the cause of Christ. I write at Christian Blessings on Wordpress, Holy Hubert Lindsey Group on Facebook, Churches on Trial at Google, publish You Tube videos, record sermons at, etc. I also pastor a Church called the Upper Room in Williamsburg, Ohio . My secular Blog called Southwestern Ohio Fishing on Wordpress is where I write about experiences with my son and fishing partner Chad where we together enjoy Mother Nature’s beauty mixed with Father God’s creation. At Southwestern Ohio Fishing Blog I also publish favorite recipes for those who enjoy eating and cooking as much as this writer does.
