CALVARY is the place of DECISION.
It is the eternal sword that divides people into two categories:
the SAVED and the LOST.
There is NO THIRD CATEGORY!
There is NO THIRD CATEGORY!
Those who ACCEPT Christ as Saviour
have their sins forgiven, are adopted into the family of God,
have the assurance of His abiding presence;
His love, joy and peace in all situations;
His comfort and encouragement; His teaching and guidance;
His help and protection
and are assured of an eternity with Him in Heaven.
Those who REJECT Christ as Saviour
still have to pay the penalty for their sins.
That penalty is all eternity spent in torment in hell.
There is NO THIRD CATEGORY!
There is NO ALTERNATIVE!
Jesus said “I am the Way, the Truth and the Life.
No ones comes to the Father except through Me.
John 14:6
He who comes to Me I will by no means cast out.
John 6:37
I have come down from heaven,
not to do My own will, but the will of Him who sent Me.
And this is the will of Him who sent Me,
that everyone who sees the Son and believes in Him
may have everlasting life;
and I will raise him up at the last day.
John 6:38,40
If you do not YIELD to the LOVE of God
and be CHANGED by the GRACE of God
there is NO WAY to ESCAPE the WRATH of God.
Life without Christ is a hopeless end.
Life with Christ is an endless hope.
How I wish we could translate the diagram into Urdu and Tagalog…a picture speaks a thousand words. … yet He is able to make His love abound.
Thank you for your presentation which summarises God’s truth to us, Cloudwatcher.
Thanks Evelyn. I don’t know if it is possible – if our keyboards can type in Urdu or Tagalog – but if so, if the translations could be provided, I could build the chart in those languages.
“If you do not YIELD to the LOVE of God; and be CHANGED by the GRACE of God; there is NO WAY to ESCAPE the WRATH of God.” AMEN!!
It is just as you say there is no third option. Lord bless you. Thank you for this very solemn, and significant and meaningful posting.
It is not very popular these days to talk about Jesus as the ONLY way, but that must never stop us from proclaiming the truth.
My prayer is that many will be caused – at this Easter season – to think about WHY Jesus died, and of the FACT of His resurrection, and then of their own accountability before a loving God who is also a Just God.
That is a fascinating chart good friend. Very valuable visual. “An endless hope” in Christ. Amen!
Mike, feel free to use the chart if you wish. Nothing of mine is copyrighted.
