Forgiveness is found. Forgiveness is experienced. When a person is forgiven a moral change is granted from God. Forgiveness is known by you.
In Salvation from Christ forgiveness from all past sin is the initial work of God’s Grace. Forgiveness is not to be confused with “sinning religion”; or taken for granted. A forgiven man is a holy man made clean by the Grace of God.
Forgiveness is a state of being found in Salvation…through your personal trust in Christ. A forgiven man is seen by God as one who believes; trusts; and stays in subjection to Christ…the one who forgave; pardoned; and gave new life.
Forgiveness is not to be taken lightly; or used as an excuse to sin. “If” we sin we have an Advocate, Christ…but don’t make it “because” we sin. Because means that you take sin for granted. The attitude of forsaking sin is the attitude of a believer in Christ. This attitude “renounces” sin and doesn’t take sin for granted. If we sin we have a Christ who will grant mercy and forgiveness…but the fact is Christ gives you enough Grace to stay right with God.
Get rid of sin. Sin will wreck your life with Christ. Sin will cause you to be depressed. Sin is contrary to pardon from God. We have a sin problem in this modern religious world mindset. Don’t let sin rob you from the blessing and state of forgiveness that is found in Salvation.
How does God see you? Forgiven? Or, unforgiven? Think about it.
