The Spirit of God puts the believer “into” Christ as Holy Scriptures teach.
1 Cor. 12:13…By one Spirit are we all baptized into one body.
The hearing of the Gospel message enlightens the heart of a sinner…so much…that he believes and trusts Christ for personal forgiveness. Belief (from the inner depth of man’s soul) reaches out to the Saving Grace of God that offers forgiveness and redemption.
When the Spirit “baptizes” the believer into the body…Christ is found. Christ is touched and Christ is recognized. Faith revealed Christ. Faith took hold of Christ. Faith in Christ was ministered to man by the Spirit of the living God.
Christ was heard about. Christ was revealed. Christ was taken hold of. The sinner turned from evil and found out what “right” really is. Righteousness was revealed from Heaven through the person of Christ. Righteousness was given to the heart of the sinner that repented and accepted Christ.
The Spirit therefore put man “into” Christ like God took the children of Israel through the Red Sea. Out of bondage into deliverance. A spiritual operation took place. Out of Egypt into Canaan in the Old Testament. Out of sin into holiness in the New Testament and the body of Christ. Within this body it was called, “Salvation”. Salvation of the human soul. Also termed as Christianity in the Bible. A new life. A new experience. A clean heart made clean by the Grace of God…in the body of Christ
God puts a sinner “into” His holiness found in the body of Christ. In the New Testament it’s about what God does when the Gospel message “puts man into” Christ. It’s the mighty hand of God that puts a man into the Spiritual body of Christ. This is called, “The Church.” Holiness is the fruit of a man that’s one of Christ’s members in the Church.
Stay in Christ. Keep yourself in Christ. Stand firm and continue in personal faith in Christ. Get into Christ. As an member of Christ’s body… you will have it made. Be blessed!
Thank God today for His blessing…of a new heart and life.
As a preacher of Christ…I am only a messenger sent by God. I declare Christ, the power of His resurrection, and His life changing presence. The Gospel I preach takes men out of the bondage of sin and gives them liberty in the Spirit. The Gospel I preach is the power of God that puts penitent sinners into Christ. Thus the believer in Christ is “reborn” by the same Spirit that raised Christ from the dead. I preach as Christ commanded. It is strictly the Gospel message only that takes people “out” of the world and puts them “into”…Christ.
