Dim Sum – Is healing for me?

Is healing for me today? Yes it surely is.  Let us be assured by the Word of God.

Would Jesus have invested so much of his attention and time to healing the sick and afflicted if it were not to apply to us too? Would so much be recorded in the Word of his healing work if it was not an important part of his ministry?

Matthew 8:8  The centurion replied, “Lord, I do not deserve to have you come under my roof. But just say the word, and my servant will be healed.” (NIV)

Matthew 8:16  When evening came, many who were demon-possessed were brought to him, and he drove out the spirits with a word and healed all the sick. (NIV)

Matthew 9:35  Jesus went through all the towns and villages, teaching in their synagogues, proclaiming the good news of the kingdom and healing every disease and sickness. (NIV)

Matthew 19:2  Large crowds followed him, and he healed them there. (NIV)

Mark 5:34  He said to her, “Daughter, your faith has healed you. Go in peace and be freed from your suffering.” (NIV)

Luke 8:50  Hearing this, Jesus said to Jairus, “Don’t be afraid; just believe, and she will be healed.” (NIV)

Luke 9:11 … but the crowds learned about it and followed him. He welcomed them and spoke to them about the kingdom of God, and healed those who needed healing. (NIV)

Luke 5:17 One day Jesus was teaching, and Pharisees and teachers of the law were sitting there. They had come from every village of Galilee and from Judea and Jerusalem. And the power of the Lord was with Jesus to heal the sick. (NIV)

What is the Word of God on healing?

Isaiah 53:5
But he was pierced for our transgressions, he was crushed for our iniquities; the punishment that brought us peace was on him, and by his wounds we are healed. (NIV)

Isaiah 58:8  Then your light will break forth like the dawn, and your healing will quickly appear; then your righteousness will go before you, and the glory of the LORD will be your rear guard. (NIV)

Hosea 14:4  I will heal their waywardness and love them freely, for my anger has turned away from them. (NIV)

Malachi 4:2  But for you who revere my name, the sun of righteousness will rise with healing in its rays. And you will go out and frolic like well-fed calves. (NIV)

Psalm 147:3
He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds. (NIV)

Psalm 41:3

The LORD sustains them on their sickbed and restores them from their bed of illness. (NIV)

Jesus healed all who called upon Him. If we need healing we must call out to Him
Psalm 30:2
LORD my God, I called to you for help, and you healed me. (NIV)

Jeremiah 17:14  Heal me, LORD, and I will be healed; save me and I will be saved, for you are the one I praise.  (NIV)

Receive your healing from Him – whether your need be spiritual, physical or emotional. The Lord comes with healing in his wings to heal you. Healing has been provided for you. Amen and praise His wonderful name.

When will my healing take place?

The Lord’s plan is perfect and He has a time to heal you. Just like the lame man  who waited for many years at the pool of Bethsaida until the time when Jesus came and healed him you may have to wait and develop your faith or you could be healed instantly as  you call His name. Nothing is impossible to God. He does what is best for you.

God promised…God gave authorization…God said, “By His stripes”. These signs follow those who “believe in Christ”. Trust…trust…trust, Christ. He heals.
