HE LIFTS US UP: Poem: Tears of Abuse

BLOOD OF JESUS
TEARS…
many tears,
with fears,
over years…

TEARS…
with pain,
of shame,
like rain…

TEARS…
so confused,
been used,
and abused…

TEARS…
so revealing,
yet concealing,
but healing…

TEARS…
can’t ignore,
wounds galore,
He’ll restore.

Prayer: Lord, we pray for all victims of abuse and  all the broken around the world. We pray that these tears will be tears of healing and restoration for all, like the Balm of Gilead. We ask for a mighty move of Your Spirit across the world and praise You… in Jesus’ name. Amen.
