HE LIFTS US UP: Angels are Amongst Us ( 2 Kings 6:16-17 )

Angels are amongst us
surrounding us everywhere
silently moving and dwelling
not revealing that they’re there

They’re angels on assignment
sent by God everyday
to guide and protect
and help us in any way

These angels are amongst us
and hidden in any form
may look like a homeless man
or others out of the norm

They’re angels on assignment
maybe here to give a test
will you treat as God expects
always giving them your best.
Many people do not believe in angels. However, when Elisha and his servant were facing a huge army, Elisha prayed for the eyes of his servant to be opened and immediately he could see a mountain full of fiery horses and chariots to protect them.

2 Kings 6:16-17

So he answered, “Do not fear, for those who are with us are more than those who are with them.” And Elisha prayed, and said, “Lord, I pray, open his eyes that he may see.” Then the Lord opened the eyes of the young man, and he saw. And behold, the mountain was full of horses and chariots of fire all around Elisha.

So, now I want to include one of my favorite songs and  testimony of seeing angels…

Prayer:   Lord, I pray that the eyes of your children will be opened to see what has been hidden from them and that hearts will be opened to receive the Love that You have for them with the protection and blessings that can only come from You ….in Jesus’ name… Amen

Here is a little comfort for those who are in the depths of a spiritual battle. Hebrews 1:14 says, “Are they not all ministering spirits sent forth to minister for those who will inherit salvation”
When we feel alone, or far from God and our enemies seem to be gaining a foothold, remember we are assigned at least one angelic being sent by God, to help us and do the will of the Father.
