Comfort in God’s Word – Inspirational Bible Verses – Psalm 119
By Darrell Creswell

2 Corinthians 1:19 – 20 tells us that God is faithful. Jesus Christ, the Son of God, does not waver between “Yes” and “No. He always does what He says. All of God’s promises have been fulfilled in Christ with a resounding “Yes! All of God’s promises are “YES in Christ Jesus. So when hard times beset you, do you believe the storm around you, or do you believe the Word of God? In Christ, you don’t have to summon up the courage to face your future, as God has already done that for you.
God has plans for your future: Jeremiah 29:11 – I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.
God will supply all your needs: Philippians 4:19 – God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus.
God will be with you and protect you: Isaiah 43:2 – When you pass through the waters, I will be close to you. When you walk through the fire, you will not be burned.
God’s love will never leave you: Isaiah 54:10 – Though the mountains vanish, My unending love with never leave you.
God will listen to you: 1 John 5:14 – This is the boldness which we have toward Him, that if we ask anything according to his will, He listens to us.
God promises you eternal life: John 3:16 For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish, but have eternal life. God’s promises are an ironclad contract to bless our lives.
The promises of God are not based on what we do or don’t do. They are given to us because of God’s desire to bring blessings and comfort in our lives. God’s promises are an ironclad contract that cannot be broken. All God’s promises are fulfilled in Christ who by His sacrifice has made us right with God.

When the enemy comes in like a flood, the Spirit of God will raise a standard against him!” (Isaiah 59:19) Praise God, He does not leave us but leads in the fight against the enemy. What a comfort.
