For many years I’ve been asked this question, “Where the soul goes after the body is placed in the grave?” The Bible states the soul of man goes to either Heaven or Hell…after death to the physical body.
Hell is for unbelieving souls. Heaven is for believing souls. Simple.
The qualification of a believer is simply a soul cleansed from sin and freed from the condemnation of an eternal punishment in Hell’s torment. The soul of a sinner still remains in an unclean state thus accountable to God and eternally condemned.
Only Christ can determine the eternal existence of the soul of man….after death to the physical body. The human soul never ceases to exist. It’s existence on Earth is a place of acceptance of the Lord Jesus Christ.
God has given the Gospel message for preachers to scatter around the globe until the return of Christ. The Gospel is God’s way of allowing man to save his soul from eternal damnation.
The human conscience (the mental part of the human soul) never dies. If man’s conscience accepts Christ in this life…Heaven is granted. If man’s conscience rejects Christ in this life…the eternal soul is Hell bound forever.
