    This is our testimony
    – we are THANKFUL
    – we are TRIUMPHANT
    – He blesses others THROUGH us.
    Praise The Lord.
May we always be fragrant and fresh for Him.

What a great comment, you are so right! Today, I spent time gardening, mostly clearing weeds to get ready for planting. Before moving some herbs that had taken over a spot, I picked the tops to make some dried herbs. My thoughts pondered over the “first fruits” in my spiritual life, what do I have that is new like these beautiful and fragrant herbs, Lord? Then I remembered my devotion in 2Cor.9:6-15…”He has scattered abroad his gifts to the poor; his righteousness endures forever” My AHA moment! He is my supplier, I can give from what He has freely given because through His righteousness it is blessed…forever. Rejoicing~Zoey

First, a grand welcome to ChristianBlessings! Thank you for sharing with us as God shares with you.

This verse you offer us with the beautiful background is one of my favorites from Paul’s letters, especially set in its context of his life and ministry of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Paul gives us a marvelous insight into all that it means to be in Christ, suffering great trials and much tribulation, but in this verse, he describes himself as being in a celebratory parade with Jesus victoriously leading the way.

It would almost appear an oxymoron, but Paul describes this as he does elsewhere as the expected Christian life. To the Romans, he would elaborate, “The suffering of this present age pales in comparison to the glory to be revealed in Christ.”

    Many blessings to you today.

What a nice welcome, thank you! I like what you shared about the Apostle Paul teaching of the christian life. What courage he exampled to us as believers, followers of Christ Jesus. That we should live with confidence;boldly and celebrate (parade) the Gospel of Jesus in our daily life! Amen! God bless you in His service. ~Zoey
