HE LIFTS US UP: A Promise to the Brokenhearted

The Lord is close to the brokenhearted…
He rescues those who mourn.
He knows who will be abused…
from the day that they were born.

But He always has a plan,
which He does not bestow.
And His timing is different,
than what we all know.

For while we are abused,
and cry out for years.
He sends angels amongst us,
and collects all our tears.

And though we don’t understand,
there is something we don’t realize.
Our time in years,
is like a blink of His eyes.

So though we don’t see His Hand,
we all need to know,
all of His Promises in the Bible,
are like the covenant with the rainbow.

‘Cause His plan is for eternity…
not just for today.
He is the Key to overcoming…
so let Him guide your way.

“Blessed is the man who perseveres under trial, because when he has stood the test, he will receive the crown of life that God has promised to those who l8ove him.” James 1:12

Dear Father, we praise You for Your plan of salvation that has blessed us with fellowship with You. We thank You, Lord, for Your promises that hold true for eternity, that You heal the brokenhearted and bind up their wounds. That You provide and protect and even rescue those in need. We pray that You draw more near to You, touching their hearts and transforming their lives… in Jesus’ Name. Amen.
