.Faith Child – We must care

An important part of the Christian life is caring for others. The Bible gives us great direction on who and why we are to care for others. We are to treat others with love and kindness. God instructs us to care for the poor, fellow Christians, and relatives.

Read through these Bible verses slowly and allow God to work them into your life. Pray as you read.

Caring for the Poor

Philippians 2:4
Let each of you look not only to his own interests, but also to the interests of others.

Proverbs 21:13

Whoever closes his ear  to the cry of the poor,   will himself call out and not be answered.

Galatians 2:10  Only, they asked us to remember the poor the very thing I was eager to do

Caring For Relatives

1 Timothy 5:8
But if anyone does not provide for his relatives, and especially for members of his household, he has denied the faith and is worse than an unbeliever.

About Caring for Others- Other Christians

Galatians 6:10
So then, as we have opportunity, let us do good to everyone, and especially to those who are of the household of faith.

Galatians 6:2

  1. ptl2010 says:

    Psalm 68:5 ESV
Father of the fatherless and protector of widows is God in his holy habitation.

As God cares for the fatherless and widows, so should we.
