EPH. 3: 16-20 16 I pray that out of his glorious riches he may strengthen you with power through his Spirit in your inner being, 17 so that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith. And I pray that you, being rooted and established in love, 18 may have power, together with all the Lord’s holy people, to grasp how wide and long and high and deep is the love of Christ, 19 and to know this love that surpasses knowledge—that you may be filled to the measure of all the fullness of God. 20 Now to him who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to his power that is at work within us.

Ephesians 1:18-20 18 I pray that the eyes of your heart may be enlightened in order that you may know the hope to which he has called you, the riches of his glorious inheritance in his holy people, 19 and his incomparably great power for us who believe. That power is the same as the mighty strength20 he exerted when he raised Christ from the dead and seated him at his right hand in the heavenly realms.

Father God, we come to you in the name of Jesus Christ, thanking you for the power that is working within us through the Holy Spirit that you have given to us as a gift. 

We thank you that in our time of need that you strengthen us.  You are our strength and shield. We thank you that you are our refuge and strength all the days of our lives.  Your Word says that you go to and fro throughout the earth to strengthen those whose hearts long for you.

Father, our hearts, souls, and minds long for you.  We long for your strength and power to be revealed in us so that we can show forth your goodness and mercy throughout the earth…….and in our own lives….. as well as those that we come in contact with each day.

Father, we ask you for the wisdom and knowledge to understand the length, breadth, depth, and heights of your love for us, so that we can faithfully release your power within us. For we know that we have the same power within us that raised up Jesus Christ from the dead and we do not fear for we know that you are with us always and at all times.

Father, we pray that out of your glorious riches you may strengthen us with power through Your Spirit in our inner being, so that Christ may dwell in our hearts through faith.  And we pray that because we are rooted and established in love,  that we  may have power, together with all of Your people, to understand how wide and long and high and deep is the love of Christ toward us,  and to know this love that surpasses knowledge—that we may be filled to the measure of Your fullness.

We pray that the eyes of our hearts may be enlightened so that we may know the hope to which You have called us, the riches of Your glorious inheritance in us, and your great and  incomparably great power for us who believe.

Father, help us to rely on Your presence through us.  Teach us how to allow Your Holy Spirit to be our comforter and guide and our very help in times of need.

  • Teach us Father that the Holy Spirit is our Comforter– to live in, comfort and give us assurance of Your love for us, and to help us understand that that same love abides in us.

 Help us to know that we have the power within us to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think.  Give us the wisdom, knowledge, and understanding to release that power.

 Teach us how to use the Counsel of the Holy Spirit to release the faith of Your Word in our lives.

 We know that faith comes by hearing and hearing by the Word of God.  Teach us to feed on and meditate on your Word with spiritual ears and receptive hearts so that we can be powerful women of faith and power.

 Father, You gave us the Holy Spirit to be our Strengthener

 and Standby.  Help us to allow Him to live in and through us as the source and supply of our every need.  Give us the wisdom, knowledge and understanding to allow Him to be our source, supplier, and strength.

 Lord, we thank you that you are always with us and will never leave or forsake us.

 Teach us to understand that we are the body of Christ and have the mind of Christ; which means that we have the purposes, intent, and thoughts of His heart.

More importantly Lord God, teach us to live in Your grace.  For you said: My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.” Therefore, Father God, we most gladly will we glory in our weaknesses that your power, the power of Christ …may rest on us.

 For when we are weak, then are we strong. And we confess with assurance that Greater is He that is in us than he that is in the world.

Thank you for your power working in our lives Lord God.

This we pray is Jesus’ name.  AMEN
