HE LIFTS US UP: In the Blink of an Eye

light of world

This is for those who have been wounded and still hold onto the past. Reach out for God and allow Him to lead you into your future. Trust Him, even though you can’t see clearly yet…

In the blink of an eye…
another moment has passed.
Some look to the future…
and some still look to the past.
For so many are wounded…
with pain that still lasts.
But we can’t move on…
till we let go of the past.

In the blink of an eye…
another year will be gone.
But God is eternal…
and not held to a time zone.
So let’s change our focus…
from now to eternity.
For there is so much more…
than our human eyes can see.

“And because of his glory and excellence, he has given us great and precious promises. These are the promises that enable you to share his divine nature and escape the world’s corruption caused by human desires.” 2 Peter 1:4

“For I know the plans I have for you,” says the Lord. “They are plans for good and not for disaster, to give you a future and a hope.” Jeremiah 29:11

Dear Lord, I pray for healing and restoration for all the wounded around the world. Open eyes to see You and help us to change our focus on what we see in the natural and hold onto the promises of our future that You have given us. You have plans for each of us for good, not for harm, to give us a future and a hope. Help us to walk with You in faith, expecting the unexpected… in Jesus’ Name. Amen.
