HE LIFTS US UP: Teenage Love

Teenage Love…
many teens think it’s a must!
But unfortunately…
it only leads to teenage lust.
In a desire to “fit in”…
many teens actually give in…
negating parental teaching…
  giving in to lustful sin.
Partying, drinking…
and revealing fashions…
as teens try to find themselves…
getting lost in moments of passion.
For as they experiment
with new adventures in life…
they falter and flounder…
only opening doors for more strife.
As these young teens
drop their standards that were set…
they begin experimenting
with things that they will regret.
So Dear Lord…
we lift up these teens today…
that You will open their eyes
and return to follow Your way.
For the enemy comes in darkness
to kill, destroy and steal…
and these teens don’t realize
that this battle is very real.
So please protect our children,
guard their heart and soul…
for consequences of their actions…
are too many to be told.
Proverbs 22:6 says…
train a child right and they will not stray…
so this is my prayer,
and what I declare today!!

“Train up a child in the way he should go,
And when he is old he will not depart from it.” Proverbs 22:6

Dear Lord, we stand on Your Word and release our children to You. Deliver them from the the lustful desires of the world and place in their hearts a fire and passion for You. Raise them up to be the next generation of believers who will set new high standards of righteousness for You and have levels of faith to see the impossible become possible… in Jesus’ Name. Amen.
