That’s My King

King “a chief ruler, one invested with supreme authority over a nation, tribe or country.” –Webster

Yesterday my husband challenged our family to start our day reading or watching something inspirational.

Here is my forever pick for inspiration.  There really isn’t anything else I could choose. It’s all about my King….do you know Him?  Here is what Dr. S.M. Lockridge has to say about The King.

For a child will be born to us, a son will be given to us; And the government will rest on His shoulders; And His name will be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Eternal Father, Prince of Peace. Isaiah 9:6

Therefore Pilate said to Him, “So You are a king?” Jesus answered, “You say correctly that I am a king For this I have been born, and for this I have come into the world, to testify to the truth Everyone who is of the truth hears My voice.” John 18:37

And on His robe and on His thigh He has a name written, “KING OF KINGS, AND LORD OF LORDS.” Revelation 19:16

About setyourpathsstraight

It is my desire to serve God and others through writing; by proclaiming His goodness, provision and character in story form. Though I was not always a follower of Jesus Christ, I have experienced life changes that can only be a result of personally meeting Him. He is not a God of religion, but of relationship. I don't have the answers to life's challenges, but I know where to find them...only in God's Word can any of us stop following crooked paths. The month of my spiritual birthday, I read Proverbs 3:5-6 and claimed it as my life verse... "Trust in the Lord in all you do, lean not on your own understanding In all your ways acknowledge Him.... and He will Set Your Paths Straight." Thank you for your visit today. Please come back again.

When we crown Him King of our lives now we find the abundant life He promises now. Can’t complain if we won’t let Him be King.. With Him on the throne of our lives there is no need to wait for eternity to experience heaven in the future.
    Praise The Lord.
